I don't know what it is but a lot of the older sets like this and the Main St just have a certain thing about them that I find so charming - maybe nostalgia?<br /><br />Interestingly enough, I bought a big bunch of old train lego off eBay about 5 years ago and found some of those red window pieces also, so now have them in my collection.
